Overview
The "Get Started" experience had grown increasingly complex over time, creating unnecessary friction during account creation. With continued growth across partnerships and product offerings, we saw an opportunity to simplify the onboarding experience and build a more scalable foundation for the future. Partnering with product managers and engineers, I helped redesign and launch a streamlined flow under a tight timeline.

A single entry point for both new and existing users. After entering an email, the system automatically determines the appropriate next step, reducing decision-making and creating a simpler path to get started.

Introducing a scalable form pattern
The existing forms felt visually heavy, with separate labels and inputs making the experience appear longer than necessary. After researching modern form patterns, I introduced a floating-label approach that streamlined the experience while maintaining clarity. I then took the initiative to expand it into a reusable component for future product experiences.

Authentication screens had accumulated requirements over time, including optional phone numbers, password rules, and legal disclosures. By partnering with product, engineering, and legal teams, we re-evaluated each requirement and removed unnecessary friction while maintaining compliance.
